At CIS Abroad, we meet you with integrity and a commitment to our mission, vision, and values. Our lives were changed through international experiences. Every day, we strive to create a more connected and compassionate world, one student at a time.

New! Virtual Internships

With a virtual internship, students work on projects for an international organization from their home base in the U.S. while adding a global perspective to their professional work experience. They apply their in-class knowledge to real-world meaningful work, gain hands-on experience, expand their skill base, and learn what it is like to work remotely across time zones and cultures.

Remembering our Why: A Message of Solidarity

We believe in the power of international education to create more resilient humans, stronger teams in the workplace, and more innovative problem solving. We believe that, at its best, living abroad expands our human community. We believe it creates a more connected and compassionate world. We remain boldly committed to that vision. #strongertogether.

What Partners Are Saying

Learn as much about the culture as you can before you go, and while you are there, immerse yourself in that culture and live like a local.

I stepped outside of my comfort zone and met so many friends while studying on the Gold Coast, which has allowed me to stay in contact with people on almost every continent. Being a marketing student, this diverse network will also benefit me on a professional level.
