Summer in Hawaii

Study in the capital city of Honolulu while exploring the pristine jungles and beaches nearby. Six credits, small classes and world-renowned professors.

On the Summer in Hawaii program, you can take classes in business administration, communication, international studies, liberal arts, and natural sciences at Hawaii Pacific University, a private university with over 300 summer course offerings. The University offers 2 summer sessions: Summer Session 1 runs from mid-May to early July, and Summer Session 2 runs from early June to late August. Please note that you can enroll in only one summer session.

GPA Required: 2.5. If you find your GPA is lower than the requirement, do not despair! Use the "Contact An Advisor" button on this page or call us to let us know your situation. We'll do all we can to find the right program for you.

How to choose your courses
Now the fun part! As part of the application process you will be required to complete the CISabroad Course Selection Worksheet found in the CISabroad Application Page. The following instructions will guide you through choosing your courses.

Course load: 1–2 classes (3–6 US credits)

Course approval: It is best to get 3-4 classes approved before you go abroad. This way you will have plenty of classes to choose from and some flexibility in setting up your schedule.
