CISabroad’s Site Director in Spain:

Clara was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but when she was five, she and her family moved to Barcelona. Although Clara wasn’t born in Barcelona, she grew up there and considers it home!

Clara completed a Hotel Management Program at the University of Barcelona, and then went on to study Public Relations and Advertising. Recently, she completed her Master’s degree in Event Management at a specialized program that is part of the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.

In her free time, Clara enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her friends. She loves to get lost in Barcelona and find new places, and random cafés, where she can open a good book and read. She has traveled to Canada (where her family lives), the US, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Brazil, all around Europe, and countries as far as Tanzania and the Maldives. She also recently returned from her honeymoon- an African Safari! A fun fact about Clara is that everywhere she travels, she makes sure she visits a supermarket!

In addition to Clara’s support, we have a full office of onsite staff who will be able to help you during your time in Barcelona! You’ll be introduced to all of them during orientation and they will go over each of their different roles. You’ll have plenty of support, should you need it!
