CIS Summer in Scotland offers a vibrant campus life. Most study abroad students at the University of Stirling live on campus, so you will never be far from the new friends you meet. There are clubs and societies for just about every interest—photography, orchestra, politics, and culture to name a few. SUSA, the Stirling University Students' Association, runs a variety of bars and venues on campus and programs entertainment throughout the summer. Registering at the University automatically makes you part of the Student Union, so you’ll waste no time finding something that suits your interests, and getting involved.
If you enjoy the outdoors, the campus itself is a wildlife haven. And the surrounding Ochil Hills are filled with hiking trails. Sports fans will be pleased to note that Stirling offers more than 30 club and University sponsored sports and is home to the Scottish Institute of Sport. The Scots are very passionate about their sports teams so you will love jumping into the sports culture and cheering on your new favorite teams. You’ll love the strong community feel of the campus and the city during your Summer in Scotland!
