On Summer in Aix en Provence, you will enjoy a homestay. Living in a French home is the way to go, because you get an immediate, in-depth introduction to life in this new place. Host families come from a cross section of society and belong to no particular professional or social milieu. All are carefully chosen and many have hosted American students for several years.
In most cases, you’ll be able to walk to your classes in about 15–35 minutes. Your homestay includes a single or double room, breakfast and dinner 6 days week. Bed linens, a pillow, and a blanket are provided, but be sure to bring your own towel. Your rooms will be cleaned weekly, and usually, you’ll be provided one load of washing per week.
