Semester in Hawaii

All Semester in Hawaii participants live in student apartments in Waikiki, just a few blocks from the ocean.  The apartment complex is surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and nightlife and is located about 20-25 minutes by bus from the downtown campus.  The units are recently refurbished studio apartments, and are generally doubles or triples, although you can choose to have a single for an extra fee.  The air-conditioned apartments offer students single beds, dresser, bathroom with a shower, a desk and chair, and a lanai; they also have a furnished kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and microwave.  Wireless internet is available for students free of charge but they will need to purchase/bring their own lines, pillows, and towels.  The apartment complex has a 24-hour security system with electronic elevator and door keys, on-site staff, and provides students with a pool and barbecue area to socialize with friends.
