Semester in Hawaii offers the chance to take classes in business administration, communication, international studies, liberal arts, natural sciences, and nursing at Hawaii Pacific University, a private university with nearly 9,000 students from more than 100 countries.

How to choose your courses
Now the fun part! As part of the application process you will be required to complete the CISabroad Course Selection Worksheet found in the CISabroad Application Page. The following instructions will guide you through the steps of choosing your courses.

Course load: 4–6 courses (12–18 US credits)

Course approval:
It is best to get 7–8 classes approved before you go abroad. This way you will have plenty of classes to choose from and some flexibility in setting up your schedule. You should also consider filling your elective requirements.

How to read the Hawaii Pacific University course catalog
Select the department(s) you are interested in from the first drop-down menu and select the term on the “Semester.”  Add your preferences for times and dates of classes if you want, select “search for courses,” and start looking through your course options!
