Helpful information
The first 3 characters of the module code indicate the department, and the second 3, the course itself. When a code ends in a 1 or a 2, the module is generally offered in semester 1 or 2 of the Stirling degree program (first-year courses);  a 3 or a 4 indicates semester 3 or semester 4 (second-year course); and so on. If the code ends in a letter, the module is almost always available only to students in semesters 4–8 of the degree program who have a strong academic background in the subject.

Please note that unless you are in your Freshman year in college, you may take only one Level 8 (First Year) module during your semester at Stirling.
