Semester on the Gold Coast

World-class academics and the surf at your doorstep. On Semester on the Gold Coast, you’ll study with a diverse international student body at the top university in Australia - which happens to be smack in the middle of paradise.

As part of Semester on the Gold Coast, you will take part in the 5-day Great Barrier Reef Culture and Adventure Program. Exciting excursions over land and sea introduce you to Aussie life! We’ll prepare you for the cultural differences that you may encounter and give you a chance to experience the Great Barrier Reef up close. Plus, you will meet other study abroad students heading to the same Australian university as you.

Upon arrival at Bond University, you will participate in a campus orientation program with an optional one-day excursion. You will have access to wonderful facilities and numerous support programs. On campus, there is a coffeehouse, cafés, a health clinic, computer labs, a banking ATM, and a post office, as well as superb sports center featuring basketball volleyball, squash, tennis, and a heated Olympic-size swimming pool.

There are lots of student clubs and organizations to get involved with on campus. Their activities include golf, scuba diving, rugby, rowing, drama, debating, and photography. Integrate sports and fitness into your daily life with access to the Sports Center. Weekly events on campus include “Wednesday by the Water lunchtime barbeques” and “Thursday Nights at Don’s with live bands,” as well as an end of the semester bash, and more. You will have access to the internet (on campus and in your dorm room) and your own e-mail account.
