Semester on the Gold Coast has two fantastic housing options. You can live on campus with students from all over the world and enjoy the social activities organized in your dorm, or you can choose a more independent lifestyle by living off campus.
Here are your options:
Students living in the on-campus residence hall will have a room that includes a bed, desk, chair, lights, phone, and bookshelves, with bed linens and blankets provided. They will share bathrooms with fellow students on the hall and will have access to free laundry facilities. A meal plan with 10 meals per week is included for students living on the campus. Students will need to bring/purchase their own towels and hangers.
The University-sponsored apartments (off-campus) are located a 5-10 minute walk from campus. The apartments are fully furnished and come with cutlery, crockery, cookware, air conditioning, and shared bedrooms with twin beds. Students will have access to either a private bathroom or one that is shared with the other residents. The apartment complex provides coin-operated laundry facilities and a pool on site. There is an option to include a meal plan if students are interested.
Both housing options include internet access, a telephone, access to the university's computer network (not the computer itself*), bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelves, and bedside table.
*You can bring your own laptop/notebook, but there is an initial setup fee as well as about a two-week wait for installation. Please note that you will have 24-hour access to the university computer labs, and that there are multiple wireless access points around campus.
