Intern in Florence offers a wide range of internships in numerous locations, giving you all the flexibility you need to get the right internship at the right time in your academic career.
Select a program from a month to a year in length. We encourage you to stay as long as you can to get the most out of your internship placement and immerse yourself in the culture.
Keep in mind that these are non-credit-bearing internships. You may receive academic credit from your home institution. Please speak with your academic advisor about receiving credit.
You will be placed in a 3-week Intensive Italian class at the beginning of the program. After this class, you will be placed in an internship for the remaining duration of the program, and the placement will start at the beginning of week 4. This means that if you apply for a 6-week program, your actual internship will only be 3 weeks long. *Please note that placements are chosen based on your language ability, and you will not receive exact details of your placement until you arrive in Florence.
GPA Required: 2.5. If you find your GPA is lower than the requirement, do not despair! Use the "Contact An Advisor" button on this page or call us to let us know your situation. We'll do all we can to find the right program for you.
