Shanghai has so much to offer you as a participant in Intern in China. Between your work schedule and optional Mandarin lessons (which we strongly encourage you to take), your workdays will be full. But after hours and on the weekends, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the amazing location you’re living in! The city offers travelers a system of trains, buses, and taxis that allows for easy travel around the city and surrounding areas.
Within the first few days of arrival, a detailed orientation will introduce you to working in China in general and Shanghai in particular, health and safety in China, and culture shock specific to China. A staff member will be available to assist you with any questions you may have while living in China.
